New friends

These are the new friends that Ethan, I mean, that "Diego" made while his parents were at the hospital waiting for Baby Dunloe. Their names are "Dora" and "Boots." They had a blast together!

Ethan the Photographer

Over the last several months Ethan has taken a liking to photography. He recently wanted to document his favorite toys and his family for posterity. The following photo essay was completed by Ethan without assistance.
Mommy and Dunloe
Daddy and Honey Bear
Legos and cars
The fridge
Elmo, Bob the Builder, Honey Bear, and Chucky Cheese
Golf set

Ethan serves his 60 hours of community service...actually, he volunteered and enjoys helping around the house...how long will this phase last?

He's Here!

Dunloe Efe Henderson arrived on June 28th at 7:45 pm, weighing 7 lbs 15 ounces. The name Dunloe comes from the Gap of Dunloe, a beautiful mountainous area in SW Ireland near the city of Killarney. The name Efe is Turkish and has two meanings: 'courageous' and 'swashbuckling village dandy'...

Baby coming earlier?

The baby's due date is now July 3rd according to size of the baby. That's two weeks earlier than what we were thinking. If the baby hasn't come by July 8th, the doctor will induce.

We're in Istanbul now and enjoying the wonderful apartment and apartment complex. There's lot of green grass and even a pool! We haven't tried it out yet, but we hope to tomorrow. It's been nice relaxing here and having a change of place. (Thanks to the Hensley's for letting us borrow their apartment!)

We tried to drive and find the way to the hospital yesterday from our apartment. The drive was supposed to take about 25-30 minutes, but we got lost and it ended up taking 2 hours! It's easy to forget how absolutely HUGE a city Istanbul is.

Stephanie's back is doing better these days. It's seems that God is giving her grace in these last few weeks. Baby and mom seem to be healthy and now we are playing the waiting game. . . .although it looks like we won't have to wait as long as we thought.

Thank you for all of your prayers!
